Scope 1 - Stationary Emissions Calculator
Description: This calculator estimates emissions from stationary sources like boilers, furnaces, and other equipment fueled by fossil fuels on-site.
How to Use:
- Gather Data – Collect fuel usage data (e.g., natural gas, oil) from facility invoices, logs, or meters.
- Input Data – Enter the amount of fuel consumed (in units such as gallons or cubic meters) over a specified period.
- Select Fuel Type – Choose the type of fuel from the dropdown menu (e.g., natural gas, propane).
- Calculate – Click "Calculate Emissions" to estimate the total CO₂ emissions from your stationary sources.
Example:
If you used 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas last month, input “1,000” and select “Natural Gas.” The calculator will provide your emissions in metric tons of CO₂.
