Description: This calculator measures emissions from mobile sources such as vehicles and machinery powered by gasoline or diesel.
How to Use:
- Collect Fuel Data – Check fuel usage records or receipts for gasoline and diesel usage by your fleet or machinery.
- Enter Fuel Type and Quantity – Select the fuel type (e.g., gasoline or diesel) and enter the total amount consumed in liters or gallons.
- Choose Vehicle Type – If applicable, select the type of vehicle to enhance the calculator’s accuracy.
- Calculate – Click “Calculate Emissions” to view total emissions generated by your mobile sources.
Example:
If your fleet used 500 liters of diesel in one month, enter “500,” select “Diesel,” and add any specific vehicle details. The calculator will display the emissions in CO₂ equivalent.
